Job Summary

The Counter Parts Specialist will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a top priority. This role will require completing tasks at the parts counter, such as receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. The successful candidate will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This individual will be responsible for performing all necessary tasks surrounding contamination control and strongly focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and extend optimal customer care and concern.

Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts are preferred.
Physical Requirements

Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs.; Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling; Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines; Dexterity Normal; Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers; The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
