Stocking and Receiving Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Overnight Grocery Stocking Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery stocking department, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and delegate tasks to team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet productivity standards.
- Work closely with leadership to resolve team concerns and issues, and implement solutions to improve team performance.
- Respond to customer and team member needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
- Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment that promotes high team morale and productivity.
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned by leadership, including inventory management, customer service, and team development.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- 12+ months of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, leadership, and customers.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
