Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Media Manager to spearhead integrated media strategy, planning, and purchasing for Prime Video. Your primary focus will be on driving innovative and impactful media campaigns for Amazon Original Series and Movies, developing and executing strategies across a diverse mix of channels, including television, digital, social media, and out-of-home advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between creative marketing and agencies to formulate creative, effective, and comprehensive paid media strategies based on audience insights.
  • Develop a data-driven perspective on audience opportunities and prioritization for media, ensuring alignment with internal teams.
  • Establish media objectives and KPIs, devising strategies to achieve and evaluate them, while adapting plans based on evolving circumstances.
  • Create compelling storytelling materials that outline audience-centric media strategies and confidently present media recommendations to senior leadership and talent.
  • Design test-and-learn scenarios to foster innovation and enhance media performance.
  • Oversee budgets and timelines for media initiatives.
  • Prepare forecasts and performance reports to monitor key media metrics, quality, and campaign outcomes.
  • Conduct pre-launch and post-buy performance audits and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficiency of media plans.
  • Engage directly with networks, affiliates, and partners to inspire and develop new advertising programs and secure premium media placements.
  • Identify and assess strategic media opportunities, serving as a thought leader on innovative methods to connect with our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
  • Proven experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Ability to communicate results effectively to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional marketing experience, excluding internships.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced and geographically diverse organization.

Amazon is a total compensation company, and the base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market, based on various factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
