Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee safety, asset protection, and inventory management. This role involves leading inventory audits, supervising team members in asset protection and inventory management, and ensuring a secure club environment through effective theft prevention strategies and adherence to safety protocols. You will manage both physical and systemic processes, ensuring accuracy in inventory control and counts.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Possess a strong understanding of business operations, including shrink results, and apply strategic thinking to make informed decisions.
  • Guide teams through transitions, demonstrating leadership qualities that foster credibility and support business growth.
  • Communicate effectively, providing essential information to empower teams.
  • Build high-performing teams by nurturing a culture of collaboration and providing constructive feedback.
  • Achieve results by setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable.

Team Member Development:

  • Educate and mentor team members through the training process, promoting engagement and compliance with policies.
  • Encourage a culture of development, ethical decision-making, and strategic thinking.
  • Ensure a safe and positive workplace for all team members.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead teams to uphold GOLD club standards daily, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and product availability.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of key performance metrics to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address process breakdowns to prevent negative impacts on performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety inspections and provide training on accident prevention.
  • Implement and lead asset protection initiatives and inventory audits.
  • Oversee inventory control functions and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Manage the return process and validate merchandise handling.
  • Develop and maintain effective teams within asset protection and inventory management.
  • Execute asset protection routines and conduct regular reviews of inventory reports.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college degree or relevant experience in retail or management preferred.
  • Prior experience in asset protection, safety, or inventory management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management and results communication.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Work Environment:

This role involves frequent movement on hard surfaces and may require occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds. You will work in a comfortable indoor setting with exposure to varying temperatures and cleaning agents.
