Communication Center Associate

Work Schedule:
80% FTE, evening shift. Weekend availability is essential. The position includes a rotation every third weekend, with a total of 4 shifts per week. Scheduled hours are from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with potential variations based on departmental needs.

We are looking for a Communication Center Associate (Call Center Paging Representative) to:
- Facilitate paging, messaging, scheduling, and appointment services for UW Health.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to UW Health personnel, physicians, and patients.
- Manage appointment confirmations and cancellations during evenings, weekends, and holidays for designated clinics.
- Handle a variety of calls, including connecting callers to patient rooms, notifying on-call physicians regarding organ offers, and executing emergency protocols.

- Advanced telephone systems in a call center setting.
- Specialized software applications designed for call management, message documentation, appointment scheduling, and radio paging services.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred - Associate degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
Preferred - At least one year of experience in a medical, call center, or customer service role.
