We are looking for a Communication Center Paging Specialist to:
  • Facilitate paging, messaging, scheduling, and appointment services for UW Health.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to UW Health staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Manage appointment confirmations and cancellations during nights, weekends, and holidays for designated clinics.
  • Handle a variety of calls, including connecting callers to inpatient rooms, notifying on-call physicians regarding organ offers, and executing emergency protocols.
You will utilize:
  • High-quality personal computer workstations.
  • Advanced telephone technology in a call center setting.
  • Specialized software programs designed for call management, message taking, appointment scheduling, and radio paging services.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (2 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Required.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field strongly Preferred.
Work Experience:
  • Experience in a large automated call service center and familiarity with at least one form of call processing software Preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a medical, call center, or customer service environment Preferred.
