Job Summary

The Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Testing Center at Edgewood College. This includes overseeing the scheduling of student appointments, consulting with faculty members, and managing requests for use of center services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the operation of the Testing Center, including scheduling student appointments for examinations, managing requests for use of center services, and creating and maintaining policies and processes that determine how the Testing Center operates.
  • Faculty Collaboration: Consult with faculty members to ensure that testing services meet the needs of students, and collaborate with the Director of the Learning Lab, the Disability Services Coordinator, and the Director of the Center for Student Success to ensure continuity of service to students.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain the security of testing materials, ensure compliance with any compliance standards for testing, including testing for students with documented disabilities, and maintain relevant proctoring certifications.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Maintain data on testing center usage and share information as appropriate across the institution.
  • Professional Development: Research and administer potential proctoring services for external groups requiring monitored testing, and participate in institutional committees as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree required, graduate degree preferred.
  • Commitment to Compliance: Commitment to upholding compliance expectations, including FERPA, Title IX, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong working relationships with students and faculty.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn Jenzabar and other appropriate software.
