As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties. Your duties will include cleaning hallways, glass doors, and window areas, as well as emptying trash containers and performing light office cleaning. You will also be responsible for preparing vacant units for new residents and performing minor repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily upkeep of the property office and common areas of property buildings. You will be required to adhere to a dress code and use protective equipment when necessary. You will also be responsible for maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor. The ideal candidate will have experience in grounds or janitorial work and be trustworthy and dependable. They will also have the ability to perform light maintenance work and have general knowledge of janitorial and building maintenance. During winter months, the successful candidate will be responsible for snow and ice removal and be available for on-call duties if applicable. They will also be required to maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition. A valid US driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle are also required.
