Guest Services Director

Job Summary:
The Rooms Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the daily operation of the resort's Housekeeping and Guest Services departments. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of Housekeeping and Guest Services departments, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Manage staffing levels, schedules, and payroll costs to achieve maximum productivity and profitability.
- Communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings, ensuring guest satisfaction levels meet company goals.
- Identify areas of process improvement to ensure efficient processing for the team and guests.
- Manage strict room inventory to achieve highest possible room occupancy percentage.
- Manage guest accounts, ensuring correct rates are applied, and appropriate rate authorization is obtained where necessary.
- Review incoming groups to ensure all blocking needs and front office requirements are met.
- Own and manage the Internal Audit process, ensuring departmental compliance with Quality Assurance, Loss Prevention, and safety standards procedures.
- Manage and support all financial aspects of the department, including preparing annual department budget and maintaining cost control.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and train staff.
- Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
- 2 to 5 years of hotel/resort experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
