The Director of Facilities Management will provide strategic leadership and management in the daily operations of Wu Yee Children's Services' facilities. This position will effectively leverage resources to ensure the organization's facilities meet environmental health and safety requirements, are secure, culturally responsive, and maintained in accordance with federal and state licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a recurring preventive maintenance program to ensure facilities are well-maintained and meet regulatory requirements.
- Assist in project management of new development projects, including design and construction management.
- Oversee the work of contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality services and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise facilities operations, safety, and emergency programs, including greening initiatives and new project development.
- Assist the leadership team with business development and other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of success with organizational change and facilities management.
- Experience with planning and implementing facility budgets and managing contracts.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Entrepreneurial team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000.
