Facilities Operations Director

At RIT Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Facilities Operations to lead our facilities management team. This is a full-time position based in Pittsburgh.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to our health system, ensuring client satisfaction and account retention. As a strategic-minded leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will be responsible for merging our clients' vision and expectations into Sodexo's mission of providing outstanding quality of life services.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, improve, and maintain owned and leased facilities and equipment.
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for departments.
- Coordinate and direct the design, review, and specifications of construction and remodel projects with architects and administration.
- Monitor day-to-day activities and work on Engineering, Plant Operations, Aesthetics, and Grounds.
- Direct, manage, and coordinate with the functional authority for planning, organization, control, and integration to ensure completion of projects.
- Negotiate project contracts with the direction of Hospital Senior Leadership.
- Manage activities concerning technical development and scheduling.
- Establish and manage budgets and productivity targets.
- Ensure maintenance of physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utility systems, and grounds are always in operative and safe working condition.
- Responsible for constant state of readiness to comply with TJC, Life Safety preparedness, OSHA, Air/Water preparation compliance and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional client relationship skills, internal and external customer relations expertise, and the ability to provide direction, oversight, and coordination of all functions and activities of the facilities management departments.
The Facilities Systems Director will assume overall responsibility for the safe and efficient functioning, maintenance, and operation of all buildings, equipment, machinery, systems, and groundskeeping.
This is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of facilities management and a proven track record of delivering results.
