Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will provide critical support to Associated Home Care's office staff, including the scheduling and recruitment departments. This role will report to the Office Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain common areas in a clean and organized state.
  • Answer phone calls and transfer them to the relevant employee.
  • Offer technical support to field staff.
  • Assist the Recruiting Specialist with interviews and orientation.
  • Support the Scheduling team with field staff call volume and non-urgent schedule changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of administrative office experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven self-starter with a demonstrated understanding of the company and its services.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds and language skills.
Physical Demands:
  • Must remain in a stationary position for extended periods at a desk or computer.
  • Occasional standing, sitting, walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; hearing; talking.
Work Environment:
  • This role will take place in an office setting.
  • Occasional travel to multiple offices.
