Job Summary:
The Office Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the office staff at Associated Home Care, specifically within the scheduling and recruitment teams. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared spaces.
- Manage incoming calls and route them to the correct personnel.
- Provide technical assistance to field staff as needed.
- Support the Recruiting Specialist in coordinating interviews and orientation sessions.
- Assist the Scheduling team with managing call volumes and communicating non-urgent schedule modifications.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative office setting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Familiarity with the company and its services.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
- Occasional requirements to stand, sit, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach with arms, climb stairs, hear, and speak.
- This role is primarily office-based.
- May involve occasional travel to various office locations.
