The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality meals, while also supervising a team of cooks and other food-service associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise a team of cooks and other food-service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action as needed.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, and track product production, consumption, and waste.
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
