Key Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, your role will encompass a variety of essential functions, including:
  • Overseeing all facets of property accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and account oversight.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports, budget variances, and key performance indicators.
  • Utilizing property management software to manage and track financial data efficiently.
  • Conducting regular bank reconciliations and ensuring accurate transaction records.
  • Collaborating with property management teams to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate records and performing data entry in relevant systems.
  • Analyzing financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development and enforcement of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of three years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in property management software, particularly in Yardi and Pay Scan.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including multifamily and single-family properties.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting financial information clearly.
  • A detail-oriented approach with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
