About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at MG Properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Community Manager in the effective management of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate resident records, review and process all rents, deposits, and application fees, and ensure timely posting of rents and deposits.
  • Property Maintenance: Physically inspect properties, pick up litter, and report all service needs to maintenance staff.
  • Leasing and Resident Retention: Work with lease renewals, greet prospective clients, show properties, and perform leasing duties as needed.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive customer service attitude, answer and handle incoming phone calls, and respond to resident inquiries.
  • Reporting and Administration: Update, organize, and file all required reports, review and process all lease, move-in, and move-out paperwork, and manage service requests from residents.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school graduate and 1 year experience in on-site property management.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to perform intermediate level mathematical calculations, experience with computer programs including word processing and rental systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills, high reasoning ability, ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, punctuality, and reliability.
