The company specializes in acquiring and managing income-generating multifamily properties and originates business-purpose real estate loans secured by both single-family and multifamily assets throughout the western United States.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Property Accounting Manager, your duties will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including:
1. Managing all facets of property accounting, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash management, and account oversight.
2. Preparing and reviewing lender reports, budget discrepancies, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analyses.
3. Utilizing property management software, particularly Yardi and Pay Scan, to oversee and monitor financial data.
4. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and ensuring accurate transaction recording.
5. Collaborating with property management teams to guarantee precise and timely financial reporting.
6. Performing data entry and maintaining organized records in SharePoint.
7. Analyzing financial reports to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for enhancement.
8. Contributing to the formulation and execution of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a related discipline.
2. Proficiency in property management software, especially Yardi and Pay Scan.
3. Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, particularly in multifamily and single-family properties.
4. Exceptional Excel capabilities, including advanced formula creation and pivot table usage.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and discern trends.
6. Strong communication skills, enabling clear and concise presentation of financial information.
7. A detail-oriented approach, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
8. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
