Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and prices

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products

Work Environment

Frequently outside the office environment working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $61,500 and $92,300. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
