Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Intake Coordinator to join our Patient Access Management team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient referral information, working collaboratively with Business Development to ensure a smooth referral process, and providing excellent customer service to hospitals and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient referral information, ensuring accurate and timely communication with hospitals and facilities
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development to ease the referral process and ensure all necessary information is transferred and communicated within our electronic medical record (EHR)
  • Verify home care and hospice insurance eligibility for services provided by our agency
  • Provide routine clerical and administrative functions for Patient Access Management as needed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with hospitals and facilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and referral software
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
