Human Resources Generalist

Dillard University seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department and the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, talent management, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level organization and administrative support to the Human Resources Department and the Director of Human Resources.
- Manage the recruitment process, including posting positions, managing applicant tracking systems, and coordinating interviews.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand hiring needs and position profile requirements.
- Process new hires, including HRIS, I-9, and benefits enrollment.
- Support HR compliance by enforcing recruitment policies and programs.
- Prepare and file personnel records for new hires, transfers, and other employment activities.
- Process employment verifications and background screening.
- Assist in the planning and execution of HR employee events and recognition.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field.
- 2 years of recruitment experience in human resources, and/or administrative support in a business or education-related field.
- Experience with E-verify, ADP, or other payroll and HRIS systems preferred.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
