About the Job Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team at Cole-Parmer Instrument Company in a production role. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the production of our products, including disassembly, assembly, screening, packaging, and packing following established methods to ensure efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read routing and carry out assigned tasks.
  • Label products accurately and efficiently.
  • Understand serialized processes and match calibration certificates.
  • Pack finished goods accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor or team lead.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company standards.
  • Meet daily metrics as instructed by management.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Educational Requirements:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience:

  • 0-1 years of relevant production experience is preferred.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as required, including lifting and moving average weight.
