Job Summary

Tennessee Tech University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Curriculum and Instructional Development Specialist II. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our institution by developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, collaborating with various teams, and evaluating progress towards our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet annual enrollment targets, including travel to high schools, college fairs, and special events.
  • Collaborate with university marketing, admissions, and outreach teams to execute recruitment strategies and evaluate progress towards targets.
  • Collect and analyze data and reports to inform recruitment efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Coordinate participation of the college and its academic departments in virtual and in-person recruiting programs and events.
  • Identify the need for marketing and digital collateral and promotional items, and contribute to their development with the college and university marketing teams.
  • Remain current with knowledge of educational trends, issues, and challenges for public universities and engineering and computing preparation programs.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least two years of related professional experience.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, application or admission procedures.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in position responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for college student recruitment and commitment to diversity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's in STEM field, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using CRM software.
  • Knowledge of academic programs in engineering.
