The Production Operator II is proficient in the set-up, start-up, continuous operation and shutdown of the assigned manufacturing equipment and processes using adherence to Standard Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices and current Good Documentation Practices
This position is part of the Membrane Casting department and will be located in Putnam, CT. Our mission is to solve our customers' biggest filtration, separation, and purification challenges. And, in doing so, advance health, safety and environmentally responsible technologies.
Shift Schedule: Mon - Wed 6:00pm - 6:30am and Thur 6:00pm - 2:30am
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work
- Follow a weekly schedule and communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner.
- Complete all documentation and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner.
- Follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 1+ years manufacturing experience
- Basic math and computer skills
Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Go up and down stairs to operate equipment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in an ISO or cGMP environment

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $ $21.00/hr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
