Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects, leveraging expertise in construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, and others.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients, maintaining strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Negotiate with contractors to secure reasonable order costs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for our clients.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications, upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a proven track record of managing construction projects, including large-scale commercial and residential builds.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, MS Project, and others.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred, with a strong commitment to safety and risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, with a focus on theoretical and practical knowledge.
