We also offer paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick days, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth. Our expected salary range for this role is $114,300 to $127,000, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of PositionThis senior-level sales professional will be responsible for acquiring new business and implementing energy strategies for Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with senior-level decision makers and a proven track record of success in energy sales.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities- Identify, prospect, and contact high-level decision makers in respective businesses and cultivate client relationships.
- Develop energy plans and strategies for Fortune 500 companies, prepare presentations, and close electricity sales transactions.
- Understand customers' business objectives, price risk tolerances, and work with internal resources to develop energy hedging strategies that match the customer's needs.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business (Marketing or Finance), Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in energy/electricity markets with an emphasis on marketing and/or sales.
- Business-to-business energy sales experience in electric and gas commodity, demand response, solar, and energy efficiency products.
- Experience and senior-level contacts at businesses.
- Experience presenting and closing high-level Fortune 500 customers.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience using databases.
- Current working knowledge of the California Direct Access market.
- Preference for candidates who reside in California.
