Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager and Business Analyst to join our team at Educational Testing Service (ETS). This is a unique opportunity to oversee ETS products, features, and market roadmap, driving increased margins for products and contracts while analyzing business operations and executing business requirements.

This dual role involves client-facing responsibilities, effective implementation of products and services, and contributing to the successful delivery of contractual obligations. The role is 100% assigned to the California Assessment System contract and will report to the Senior Client Solutions Manager for the California Assessment System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Business Requirements: Collect and analyze data to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement, and develop and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Process Improvement and Stakeholder Communication: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements, and liaise between business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure effective implementation of business solutions.
  • Market Research and Product Development: Conduct market research to support product development and strategic planning, and lead the specification, development, launch, and evolution of products and contract deliverables.

Requirements:

  • At least six years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Product, Program, or Project Management for student assessment contracts or products; direct experience on the U.S. K-12 large-scale assessment preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in related fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, or other areas combined with relevant work experience OR at least eight years of direct work experience on one or more K-12 large-scale assessment programs.
  • Experience in managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions and improvements.
