Position: Lead Auditor - Risk Assessment (Hybrid)

Capital One Financial Corp is seeking a dedicated Lead Auditor to become a vital part of the Risk Assessment Audit team. In this role, you will concentrate on evaluating the frameworks and processes related to Enterprise and Operational Risk Management within the Second Line of Defense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits of essential components within business units
  • Support the creation of engagement planning documentation
  • Design and implement internal control evaluations
  • Produce clear and well-organized documentation
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of auditing experience in the banking or financial services sector
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or Business Administration
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFA, CRM, FRM, or CRC
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or professional services
  • Proficiency in conducting data analysis for internal audits
