About the Role

Sunwise Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to lead our growing dealership group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customer retention and profitability across our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall operation, function, and appearance of our facilities.
  • Hire, train, and motivate department managers to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
  • Communicate management policies and procedures to all employees and ensure compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to shape employee attitudes and build morale.
  • Review and approve compensation plans for all employees.
  • Develop merchandising strategies and create effective advertising programs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in dealership operations or equivalent.
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of dealer operations.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, professional, and dependable.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation

The General Manager position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $500,000, plus a monthly bonus based on individual or team performance. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with employer match, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service.
