Sonic Automotive is a leading automotive dealer group seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, listen to their concerns, and accurately document their vehicle issues.
  • Service Coordination: Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, communicate estimated costs, and obtain customer approval for services.
  • Service Management: Schedule appointments, manage service bay availability, and coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Communication: Update customers on the status of their vehicles throughout the service process, provide accurate repair timelines, and inform customers of any delays.
  • Administrative Tasks: Create and maintain detailed service records, prepare and explain invoices, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and basic technical understanding.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using and working with CDK.
  • Prior Honda experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • OTE (On-Target-Earnings): $75,000 - $125,000+ / year.
  • Commission-based compensation.
