Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist with experience in Home Care and strong administrative and communication capabilities.

The HR Specialist is expected to be a proactive decision-maker, demonstrating exceptional organizational and time management skills.

The ideal candidate will oversee onboarding compliance for all applicants throughout the hiring process, leading up to Orientation.

This role involves managing a significant volume of employment records within our HR database, utilizing effective communication skills to streamline the process.

Key Responsibilities:

New Hire Management:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director on all HR-related initiatives.
  • Gather and verify employment and new hire documentation.
  • Ensure completion and verification of background checks.
  • Organize logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions.
  • Prepare comprehensive files for new employees.
  • Keep new hires informed about their application and job status.
  • Act as a primary contact for all candidate and new hire inquiries.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Familiarity with HHAeXchange is a plus.
