Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Transformation to join our Banking and Markets team. This strategic role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record of driving transformation and change initiatives across complex organizations. The successful candidate will partner with business unit heads to identify gaps and needs, provide critical consultancy, and support delivery and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems, leveraging resources within or outside the department.
  2. Support and fund projects, products, services, and technologies aligned with organizational functional business plans.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams in executing business and technology strategies.
  4. Oversee Business Unit Change Program performance and report data to senior management.
  5. Drive long-term vision and demonstrate exponential thinking.
  6. Bring market-leading, innovative, client-centric ideas to drive stakeholders and business partners.
  7. Evaluate key business and organizational challenges.
  8. Direct the development of new or innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Applies knowledge of key business drivers and factors that maximize department performance.
  • Persuades managers and leaders to take action and negotiates with external partners/vendors/clients.
  • Knowledge of business strategy development to provide long-term planning and manage profitability/performance.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to direct activities for multiple units.
  • Skills in translating broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions.
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors, etc.
  • Strong market and technological insight to Fin techs, Regulation, and operating model to assist with shaping future tech and change strategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Influences and negotiates, internally and externally, with great latitude on outcomes.
Experience
  • Manages multiple related teams, sets departmental priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan.
  • Successfully led large, complex projects and programs from inception through execution.
