Job Title: Managing Director, Mid-Market Transformation Program

Job Summary:

The Managing Director, Mid-Market Transformation Program, is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of the Mid-Market Transformation Program. This program aims to transform the commercial sales and service capabilities of the Bank of Montreal, enhancing the client experience and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Governance: Establish and maintain an effective governance structure, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction provided by the Co-Sponsors.
  • Business Case Development: Prepare the initiative's business case, defining the overall scope, objectives, budget, and timelines.
  • Program Management: Approve the budget and timelines for the Workstreams in the Program, ensuring successful delivery of the initiative objectives, including benefits realization.
  • Culture and Engagement: Foster a culture that cultivates alignment, engagement, and recognition, embracing empathy and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Hold accountable Workstream/Project Leads and other senior stakeholders for realizing the benefits defined in the Business Case/OKRs/KPIs.
  • Risk Management: Understand and monitor the risk profile of the Program/Projects, ensuring that all issues and key risks are addressed.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor the aggregated progress of Workstreams and Projects, championing the initiative across BMO.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Manage executive-level stakeholder expectations, escalating issues and risks to Executive Sponsors when necessary.
  • Leadership Team Development: Support the Accountable Program Director in leading the Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction and business priorities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Technical Leadership: Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.
  • Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication skills - Expert.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills - Expert.
  • Influence Skills: Influence skills - Expert.
  • Collaboration Skills: Collaboration and team skills - Expert.

Salary:

$153,285,600.00

Pay Type: Salaried
