Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinic Lead. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, maintaining daily operations, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling and coordinating meetings.
  • Provide backup support to the manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Order and maintain departmental and medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Monitor and maintain budgetary controls, working closely with the manager to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met, including immunization logs, waived testing, and equipment sterilization logs.
  • Resolve less complex patient, staff, and physician issues, escalating concerns to the manager as needed.
  • Assist with evaluating associate performance and recommending merit increases, while also reporting any non-compliance with approved policies.
  • Monitor and maintain associate work schedules and PTO requests, ensuring adequate staff coverage.
  • Ensure NCHD referrals are appropriate and assess departmental staffing needs, actively participating in resourcing efforts.
  • Comply with CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to HIPAA, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly and positively, consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission.
  • Maintain established CHRISTUS Health policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Implement job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics, supporting CHRISTUS Health's cultural diversity objectives.
  • Support and adhere to CHRISTUS Health Service Guarantee.
  • Perform other related work as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS
