E-Commerce Customer Service Representative

About the Role:

H-E-B is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our eStore team as an E-Commerce Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and review customer orders using digital tools
  • Communicate order changes and adjustments to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Package and transport groceries and merchandise from holding areas to customers' vehicles
  • Minimize shrinkage through careful handling of products
  • Achieve productivity standards and meet customer satisfaction goals

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the eStore as needed
  • Maintain and stock bag areas
  • Organize carts and maintain cleanliness within the eStore
  • Maintain standards for safety and sanitation

Requirements:

  • Minimum age 16
  • Completion of all required training upon hire (e.g., Alcohol Seller's Training)

What We're Looking For:

  • Customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent service
  • Communication skills and ability to prioritize and handle cross-functional tasks
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform detailed work with precision

Physical Demands:

  • Constantly reach at waist, grasp
  • Frequently stand, walk, reach at shoulders, reach at knees, push/pull with arms
  • Occasionally reach at overhead, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, climb ladders, pivot, twist, pinch, perform fine motor movements
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift 55 lbs, and manage in excess of 55 lbs
  • Use a manual pallet jack multiple times per day

Important Note:

It is the responsibility of each individual Partner to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and/or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
