Job Overview

Our Client Relationship Consultants are the face of U.S. Bank, building lasting connections with customers through personalized service and expert guidance. They engage with clients across multiple channels, adapting to their needs and preferences while driving a digital-first mindset. Strong client relationships are built on trust, and our Consultants excel at assessing and addressing customers' banking needs, gathering and processing information, and recommending tailored solutions that meet their unique goals.

They develop and nurture relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, asking questions to understand customers' financial needs and channel preferences. Our Consultants also identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively communicating and engaging with them. They maintain a working knowledge of our consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings. By providing a consistent, exceptional client experience, they greet clients, process basic transactions, and develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to best serve our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Building and fostering relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up
2. Identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs
3. Maintaining a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services
4. Providing a consistent, optimal client experience

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent
2. Typically 5+ years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

Preferred Skills

We're looking for individuals with:
1. Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients
2. Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
3. Advanced knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
4. Thorough knowledge of retail products and services
5. Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
6. Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
7. Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies

Pay and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $34.38 per hour, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank provides a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution, and pension (subject to eligibility requirements).
