Permit Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate project details and progress among the internal team, city permit technicians, and the engineering teams.
Utilize Google Drive and other relevant software tools for project documentation and collaboration.
Independently manage daily work to submit permits both in person and online.
Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables efficiently.
Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to obtain a permit, exceeding expectations when necessary.
Comfortably operate within an office environment, collaborating with team members and utilizing office resources effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:
Possess reliable transportation for site visits and in person city submittals.
Ability to learn from previous mistakes.
Proficiency reading Single Line Diagrams.
Minimum of one year of experience in solar-related experience or a similar field.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relations with city permit technicians.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing project requirements and priorities.
Adapt quickly to dynamic project scenarios and address challenges proactively on a daily basis.
Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to resolve issues promptly and ensure project continuity.
