About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Specialist to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex commercial general liability claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Investigation and Evaluation: Conduct thorough investigations of commercial general liability claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to determine liability and damages.
  • Claims Resolution: Negotiate and resolve claims with insureds, claimants, and their representatives, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, risk managers, and attorneys, to ensure seamless claim handling and resolution.
  • Claims Management: Manage and maintain accurate and detailed claim files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to less experienced claims professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as insurance, business, or law.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial general liability claims handling, with a strong understanding of insurance policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
