Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our P&C team as a Commercial Lines Insurance Agent. Responsibilities
  • Presenting our services and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Bringing new business prospects to closure.
  • Developing accounts and cross-selling available products and services.
  • Negotiating with carriers and evaluating carrier quotes to secure the best quotes possible for clients.
  • Identifying carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Maintaining proper documentation for existing and prospective clients.
  • Attending training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills.
Qualifications
  • Active license in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
  • Experience in selling to a specific industry and surplus line insurance policies is a plus.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to determine clients' needs efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a positive learning attitude with a growth mindset.
