Sales Director

Altius Search Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our client's equipment finance team in Minneapolis, MN.
Our client is a market leader in the equipment finance industry, providing leasing and financing solutions to businesses nationwide. They have a strong reputation for delivering personalized customer service and building long-term relationships with customers and partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a department marketing strategy, overseeing sales representatives, and identifying new business opportunities. They will also engage with management on reporting and tracking business development activities, create marketing collateral, and develop prospecting campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial equipment leasing sales, marketing, and leadership skills. They will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers, and a firm grasp of the vendor equipment financing marketplace.
This is a leadership role that requires a proven track record of leadership accomplishments and executive-level sales negotiating and closing skills. The successful candidate will be based in Minneapolis, MN and will be responsible for managing a sales team of 10 or more representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop department marketing strategy and plan with key personnel
- Oversee each sales representative's calling program with commercial clients and prospects
- Identify and address areas of competition and potential new markets
- Oversee team's focus on essential use, revenue-producing commercial equipment
- Engage with management on reporting and tracking business development activities
- Create marketing collateral and prospecting campaigns
- Schedule and coordinate trade show and conference activities
- Develop and maintain customer satisfaction levels through relationship management
Requirements:
- Ten or more years of leadership experience in the equipment finance industry
- Strong background in commercial equipment leasing sales, marketing, and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of management and customers
- Firm grasp of the vendor equipment financing marketplace
- Highly competent executive leader with executive-level sales negotiating and closing skills
