The Measurement Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing volume metrics and proactively identifying maintenance needs. This position involves maintaining field measurement devices to provide accurate information regarding pipeline flow and pressure to both the company and its clients. The Measurement Technician's responsibilities encompass:

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced calibration, troubleshooting, and repair operations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies (L&U, quality shifts, etc.).
• Mentor and train new or less experienced team members.
• Measure high- and low-pressure gathering systems.
• Install, program, and calibrate Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) systems.
• Calculate volume rates and determine orifice plate sizes for flow regulation.
• Collect gas and liquid samples for analysis.
• Operate and maintain gas and liquid sampling systems.
• Install, program, and maintain both portable and stationary gas chromatographs.
• Schedule and conduct flow tests on wells using various meter types.
• Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and repairs on measurement equipment.
• Maintain communication and sampling systems through regular checks and repairs.
• Conduct product composition and quality sampling and testing.
• Work independently in various weather conditions at remote locations.
• Be available for emergency callouts.
• Participate in training programs and safety meetings to comply with regulations and company policies.
• Ensure adherence to company and industry standards for regulatory compliance.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately, including timesheets and regulatory reports.
• Optimize work processes efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.
• Utilize tools and testing equipment effectively.
• Respond to operational emergencies as part of an emergency response team.
• Perform required regulatory inspections and documentation.
• Oversee contractors providing specialized services as needed.
• Install and troubleshoot process controls and regulations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) equipment.
• Operate measurement orifice meters and ultrasonic tubes.
• Witness LACT skid proving.
• Install and maintain radio communications on EFM systems.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from the reporting location.
• 1 or more years of experience in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support various locations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience in gas gathering systems or measurement fields.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
