Mammographer - Radiology Specialist

About the Role
Mountain View Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Mammographer to join our radiology team. As a Mammographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mammography examinations using advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
- Analyze patient data and medical history to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform quality control tests and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient satisfaction and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RT(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a RT(R) (M) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent within one year of hire.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completed mammography training with current number of mammograms done in the allotted time frame as described by the American College of Radiology according to the Minimum Quality Standards Act.
