Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with the ability for independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.

In this role:


You will be responsible for providing patients with the appropriate procedures and high-quality images to assist physicians in diagnosing patients' conditions or health complaints.

You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the facility.

You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, implementing, and completing service requests while providing a friendly and compassionate environment in alignment with the hospital's mission.

You will possess knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for various patient groups.

You will be responsible for staying current with techniques and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
ARRT registration required.
Current Radiology license through the state in which you will be working.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
