Job Summary

Prime Healthcare Management Inc is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our corporate team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our internal control payroll processes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify payroll systems problems/issues
  • Maintain payroll systems audit monthly, quarterly or as required
  • Assist with external payroll audit requests, implementations of current or new acquisitions, researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll procedures as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • A minimum of 5 years Hospital Payroll experience
  • General accounting background
  • Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent
  • Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred
  • Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices
  • Knowledge of payroll dictionary set up
  • Hands on experience with payroll taxes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred
  • Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred
  • Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred
