Corporate Payroll Specialist

Prime Healthcare Management Inc is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our corporate team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our internal control payroll processes.
Responsibilities- Conduct root cause analysis to identify payroll systems problems/issues
- Maintain payroll systems audit monthly, quarterly or as required
- Assist with external payroll audit requests, implementations of current or new acquisitions, researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll procedures as needed
- High school diploma
- A minimum of 5 years Hospital Payroll experience
- General accounting background
- Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent
- Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system
- Some knowledge of ADP preferred
- Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices
- Knowledge of payroll dictionary set up
- Hands on experience with payroll taxes
- Hands on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred
- Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred
- Some knowledge of ADP preferred
- Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.00 to $41.51.
