PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and implements strategies for business growth, focusing on expanding the commercial and agricultural lending portfolio by identifying and evaluating potential lending markets, while pursuing opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all banking products and services to effectively cultivate and sustain high-quality deposit relationships.
- Fosters connections with community stakeholders, enhancing the visibility of the Minnesota Bankers Association brand through active participation in community events and marketing initiatives.
- Ensures customer loyalty and revenue generation, adhering to loan policy guidelines and underwriting standards to maximize profitability and mitigate potential losses. Makes informed credit decisions within established lending authority.
- Demonstrates the ability to accurately interpret Federal and State laws, along with banking regulations, to uphold overall compliance.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of all Minnesota Bankers Association products and services, providing referrals to relevant departments as necessary.
- Supports branch operations to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives, actively promoting exceptional service through personal interactions and effective management of staff performance.
- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures to safeguard the bank's integrity and stability.
- Provides leadership and guidance to all branch personnel, ensuring performance targets are met by cultivating a cohesive and integrated team environment.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in lending, with prior supervisory experience is required.
