Administrative Assistant Opportunity at a University in Cambridge

Boylston Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at a prestigious University in Cambridge. This is a 3-month position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive clerical support, including composing and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist with copying, printing, scanning, faxing, and filing.
  • Utilize various software applications, including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics, and presentation software, as well as electronic calendars and email.
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact and source of information for students, staff, faculty, and external customers.
  • Answer and route phone calls, mail, and email messages, and handle information dissemination.
  • Manage schedules, arrange meetings, and maintain calendar organization.
Requirements:
  • Three plus years of office administration and customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, with solid writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
  • Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
  • Capacity to work across teams and with various projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
