Deputy Director for Administration

The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as Deputy Director for Administration. This key leadership position plays a pivotal role in the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Director of the Museum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall strategic management of the Museum's administrative functions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with University regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other senior leaders to achieve the Museum's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in senior leadership or management roles, preferably in a museum or cultural institution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
