SENIOR CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This role is pivotal in enhancing the overall sales performance of the branch while ensuring top-tier service standards and supporting the operational efficiency of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service expertise across all interactions.
- Successfully complete onboarding workshops and utilize relevant educational resources for Relationship Bankers.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve inquiries and assess their needs for potential cross-selling opportunities.
- Deliver timely and accurate responses to client inquiries to maintain a strong retention rate of profitable clients.
- Generate new client relationships through referrals and proactive business development efforts.
- Engage actively in the branch's sales initiatives to meet both branch and individual performance targets.

Client Development:
- Identify and cultivate new client relationships within targeted segments, including business and professional sectors, through proactive outreach and community engagement.

Client Advocacy:
- Champion client needs and collaborate with colleagues across all divisions to support retention and promote suitable solutions.
- Assist clients with their banking transactions as directed by branch leadership.
- Function cohesively within the team to uphold service excellence and operational integrity as outlined by management and bank policies.

Account Management:
- Oversee all aspects of new account processes, including maintenance, service requests, and risk management.
- Profile clients effectively during account setup and identify cross-selling opportunities for CNB products and services.
- Engage with prospects and existing clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored relationship strategies.

Community Engagement:
- Actively participate in civic and community events, as well as industry-related organizations, to represent the bank and foster professional relationships.

Compliance and Performance Tracking:
- Ensure all decisions align with bank policies and regulatory requirements, managing associated risks effectively.
- Monitor individual performance metrics and report results accurately.
- Collaborate with sales partners to enhance overall effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a banking environment is essential.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be in good standing under the Safe Act and registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry or eligible for registration.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of bank operations, policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with bank products and services.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation:
Starting base salary: $41.43 per hour. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
