Position Summary

Q Analysts, a Qualitest Company, is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist (Field)/ Data Collection Technician for a temporary contract aimed at supporting Ground Truth Data Collection projects and aiding in the advancement of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) products. The primary objective of this data collection initiative is to gather diverse data types related to human interactions, speech, and environmental contexts to enhance the quality of AI and ML algorithms.

The selected candidate will be tasked with conducting data collection directly at participant locations while utilizing advanced, highly confidential prototype equipment, ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of customer service expertise, technical proficiency, and meticulous attention to detail, and should be adept at using MacBook and iPhone operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize client-provided proprietary equipment in real-world participant environments to execute data collection protocols as instructed.

- Prepare and maintain assigned equipment, ensuring the security of proprietary devices.

- Prepare participants for data capture, including intake processes, non-disclosure agreements, scripting, and addressing inquiries.

- Maintain the data capture environment and implement necessary adjustments to lighting and staging.

- Respond promptly to project updates and modifications.

- Provide constructive feedback to the operations lead regarding project enhancements.

- Conduct data uploads and perform quality control assessments.

- Assist with participant outreach and scheduling activities.

- Undertake additional duties as required.

- Troubleshooting: Demonstrate the ability to resolve issues, whether customer-facing or technology-related.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a relevant role such as customer service or data collection.
  • Proficiency in using MacBook Pro and iPhone.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and its components (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets).
  • A college degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a collaborative team environment.

Essential Criteria:
  • This position necessitates reliable personal transportation, with mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Flexibility in shift timings is required, with three available shifts: day, evening, and night (night shifts concluding no later than 2 am).
