Job Title: Product Development Lead

Biogen is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Global PDC team, you will be responsible for leading the development and commercialization of our assets in multiple lupus indications.

About the Role

The Product Development Lead will be accountable for leading an integrated cross-functional team to develop and execute a global strategic plan, life cycle management plans, and annual operating plans to enable sustainable market growth. You will partner closely with operational teams across all regions to maximize long-term value for patients, while also meeting organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the strategic direction and define business goals for the asset.
  • Ensure global strategy and insights reflect the voice of the customer and address critical business needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships and coordination with key internal stakeholders, including functional leaders and executive leadership.
  • Drive engagement and alignment across regions and functions to achieve alignment on strategy.
  • Shape the global launch strategy and go-to-market approach, providing strong cross-functional direction to ensure execution of the strategy.
  • Develop and execute against lifecycle management plans.
  • Accountable for comprehensive assessment of competition and identification of opportunities to guide/refine the global strategy amidst rapidly changing market dynamics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with experience in asset leadership.
  • Immunology development, launch, and/or commercialization experience.
  • Experience commercializing new assets and maximizing the value of an asset across the product lifecycle.
  • Thorough understanding of the drug development process.
  • Anticipated travel: up to 25% international.
