About the Role

Centurion Selection is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our multifamily construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are achieved.

Budget and Financial Management

  • Oversee project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and managing change orders, to ensure financial control and transparency.
  • Review and approve invoices, and ensure financial controls are in place to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality standards, to optimize project profitability.

Site Management and Oversight

  • Supervise day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, to protect our team and stakeholders.
  • Manage subcontractors and construction crews, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, to identify and address any potential issues.

Communication and Reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any issues or changes, to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address concerns, and align on objectives, to ensure project success.

Risk Management and Problem Solving

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively, to minimize project disruptions.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress, to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, to protect our team and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the construction process, to ensure project excellence.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that the project meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations, to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in multifamily construction projects, with a focus on stick frame construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
